Service repair

The Veinlite instruments are very durable. Many have been in operation for 10 years or more. Experience has shown, however, that the cover window of the LEDs becomes cloudy over the years. Especially if no protective covers were used. Or the battery can no longer be charged. Depressed switch rubbers occur after years or too much pressure on the switches. Corrosion on the internal electronic board occasionally occurs after years of use, which leads to malfunctions. Or individual LEDs fail. In these cases, the internal electronics board must be replaced. Please contact us for a repair offer quoting the model and serial number and a brief description of the fault. You will find the serial number on the device packaging or on the sticker after opening the battery compartment.

From a sustainability perspective, we also offer you a general overhaul of your Veinlite device including a new one-year guarantee at a fixed price insured return within Europe.

For the fiber optic free-standing devices VL220 and MedTech phlebo, we also carry out the periodic safety checks in accordance with the MPG (Medical Devices Act) for medical practices with the application of a new test seal. In clinics, this is usually done by our own technical service.

We supply new LED cover windows including instructions in German and English for renewing tarnished or broken cover windows at cost price including postage of EUR 25.00 VAT.

The rechargeable 3.7 V batteries are the same for all Veinlite models and should be replaced after 3-5 years to maintain the instrument functions. The battery costs including shipping Euro 45.00 VAT.

If light screening or field reduction adapters are lost, we can also supply them. Please order all accessories / spare parts simply via informal email stating the model.
