Original Veinlite electronic circuit board with LED ring
Veinlite instruments are highly durable. Many have been in operation for 10 years or longer.
However, experience shows that the following types of wear and tear may occur over the years:
- Clouding of the LED cover window(particularly if protective covers were not used).
- The battery no longer charges after years of use.
- Worn or depressed rubber switch covers due to years of use or excessive pressure.
- Corrosion on the internal electronic circuit board after long-term use, leading to malfunctions or the failure of individual LEDs.
ℹ️ In these cases, the internal electronic circuit board must be replaced(see image above). Please contact us for a non-binding repair estimate, providing the model, serial number, and a brief description of the fault.

🔍 Note on the serial number: You can find the serial number either directly on the device packaging or on the sticker inside the device after opening the battery compartment.

All spare parts or accessories shown in the adjacent overview can usually be shipped promptly from our Villach Service Center via registered Priority Mail with an invoice, payable immediately upon receipt.
Should your light shielding or size reduction adapters be lost or misplaced, we can also supply these quickly and easily.
New LED Cover Windows
Includes comprehensive instructions in both German and English for replacing clouded or broken cover windows.
Rechargeable Batteries (3.7 V)
Identical and suitable for all Veinlite models. Replacement is recommended after approx. 3–5 years to maintain full device functionality.

Medtech Phlebo Fiber Optic Stand Device

Following the discontinuation of the Veinlite VL220 Halogen stand device in 2015, the search began for a new stationary system to serve VL220 customers and prospects who, for various reasons, preferred not to use handheld devices.
After establishing multiple contacts at Medica, an OEM supplier based in Europe was found who met our strict specifications exactly.
We placed particular emphasis on:
- A wear-resistant fiber optic cable featuring an easy-to-clean, flat light ring as the centerpiece of the device.
- Utilizing the latest LED light technology for the light source instead of the old halogen bulb.
- Reduced heat generation and the integration of a significantly quieter cooling fan.
- Increased cost-efficiency, as the previously required periodic replacement of the halogen bulb is completely eliminated.
ℹ️ Full Compatibility: This successor system is fully compatible with the older VL220 stand systems. Consequently, the new fiber optic cable can also be used ideally as a replacement part for worn cables on existing VL220 devices.
